Junior Digital Analyst – Digital Analytics (GA4 & Google Tag Manager) 

Role overview

As a Junior Digital Analyst, you will work alongside experienced analysts, get hands-on with real client data, and build the technical and analytical skills that turn numbers into strategy. Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager is essential for this role. 

The role involves supporting tracking implementations, maintaining data sources, and building reports and dashboards within a client-facing analytics environment.

Key Responsibilities

Analytics Implementation & Tracking 

  • Work hands-on with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager – tag implementation, event tracking, ecommerce tracking, data layer configuration, and troubleshooting. 
  • Support the design of tracking strategies and the implementation of web analytics tools. 

Data Management & Reporting 

  • Help manage and maintain data sources to ensure accurate, reliable client analysis. 
  • Build reports and dashboards tailored to client goals and objectives. 

Collaboration & Insights 

  • Contribute to a team that turns data into clear, actionable insights and recommendations. 

We are looking for

Education 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field (a plus, not a requirement). 

Experience 

  • Entry-level role  

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager, this is a must-have; candidates without it are not a fit for this role. 
  • Basic Excel skills, with enthusiasm for building more advanced ones.
  • Exposure to HTML, CSS, or JavaScript is a plus.
  • Exposure to paid social, social listening, paid search, or marketing automation – nice to have

Soft Skills 

  • A genuine interest in analytics and a drive to sharpen your analytical and critical thinking skills. 
  • A genuine curiosity about digital marketing tools and strategy. 
  • Ownership mentality, comfortable managing and reporting on your own area of work. 
  • Adaptability, and comfort navigating new projects and environments. 
  • A self-starter attitude and drive for continuous learning. 
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
