Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Data Engineer Engineer with specific experience in Customer Data Platforms (preferably BlueConic) to join our dynamic data team. This individual will be responsible for managing, integrating, and optimizing our client’s BlueConic platform to ensure we deliver a personalized customer experience across all touch points.

1. Implement, manage, and optimize the BlueConic platform to capture, store, and unify customer data.
2. Integrate BlueConic with various data sources and downstream applications, ensuring data consistency and availability.
3. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and IT teams to design and implement personalized customer journeys.
4. Monitor data quality and ensure the platform adheres to compliance and data protection regulations.
5. Develop and optimize AI Workbench notebooks (python) for advanced analytics and customer segmentation.
6. Utilize JavaScript to customize platform functionalities and enhance data integrations.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve any platform-related issues or challenges.
8. Create comprehensive documentation for platform configurations, integrations, and best practices.
9. Stay updated with the latest BlueConic features, updates, and best practices.
10. Train internal teams on utilizing BlueConic data for analytics, reporting, and campaign management.

1. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics or related fields.
2. Proven experience with BlueConic or similar CDP platforms.
3. Strong understanding of data structures, integrations, and ETL processes for data preparation.
4. Medium knowledge in SQL, JavaScript, python and familiar with API integrations.
5. Experience in developing and managing AI Workbench notebooks (Python based).
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with multiple teams.
8. Experience with data privacy regulations like GDPR, CCPA, etc. is a plus.
