Salesforce Commerce Cloud Front End Senior Developer

Right now, we’re looking for Salesforce Commerce Cloud Front End Senior developer. Someone that just gets it, able to architect and design a solution, that our team can build and deliver successfully. You would be right in the center of making a project a success.

Location

On-site in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (possibility for unlimited work from home)

Your key responsibilities

  • Analyze functional specifications, analyze requirements architecture, challenge requirements architecture, draft design options
  • Assign tasks/ defects to the team using a predefined strategy and the team members’ skillset
  • Ensure that the technical team follows the principles and directions defined by the SA
  • Prepare discovery questions, participate in meetings for lead qualification & opportunity development
  • Follow up standards in project documentation and update documentation regarding tasks, code
  • Validate defects reported and provide guidance on priority and next steps
  • Responsible for the quality of team deliverables
  • Remove roadblocks on the tasks for the team members (by providing answers or facilitating getting them)
  • Support mentoring delivery/career coaching for team members and guide the team in using the information sharing tools
  • Monitor the implementation of best code review practices and implement peers code review activities
  • Escalate appropriate problems in cross function matrix environment (involve other members outside the team when expertise is needed)
  • Build, validate and maintain web page templates from supplied PSD, wireframe layouts, Zeplin or InVision using clean, lightweight, semantic code that adheres to current Web Standards;
  • Write cross-browser HTML and CSS;
  • Support and enforce best practices for content layout, navigation and site architecture for a simple to complex web applications or websites;
  • Work closely with very qualified and motivated back-end developers, analysts, architects, QA engineers and managers;
  • Apply company tailored working procedures on daily basis;
  • Keep up to date with the latest web technologies in the fields of web design, usability, mobile, email and social media application design;

Requirements

  • Salesforces B2C/B2B E-commerce experience (2+ projects or 2+ year);
  • Experience in UX/UI Design and working knowledge of responsive design
  • Experience with MVC and architecture;
  • Knowledge of jQuery. Experience with any popular jQuery plug-in (jQuery UI, jQuery tools, jQuery Mobile, etc.) is a plus;
  • Knowledge of popular CSS grid systems (Bootstrap, 960gs, Skeleton, etc…);
  • Knowledge of version control systems;
  • Experience with debugging, performance profiling and optimization
  • Ability to work on multiple tasks and to quickly switch focus between them
  • Understanding of customer’s business needs and priorities
  • Experience in working in a self-organizing team, with little or no supervision;
  • Good English skills

Nice to Have

  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification;
  • Experience in Salesforce (Visualforce, Lightning components) is preferable.
  • Experience with Salesforce B2B (Cloud Craze) or E-commerce experience (SAP Hybris, Magento,)
  • Experience in Salesforce Backend (APEX);
  • Able to communicate with customers on technical issues;
  • Ability to multitask;
  • Have a positive “can do” attitude.
