Java Mid Developer for Salesforce

Right now, we’re looking for a Java Mid Developer to join our Salesforce Commerce Cloud team. Someone that just gets it, eager to learn new technologies, able to design and develop a solution that our team can build and deliver successfully. You would be right in the center of making a project a success.

We provide the possibility to join our fast-growing Salesforce team and we offer you the chance to participate in all related trainings to acquire the needed technical expertise for this new emerging E-Commerce technology

Location

On-site in Cluj-Napoca, Romania (possibility for unlimited work from home)

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop dynamic enhanced e-commerce web experiences using Salesforce
  • Develop customer-specific web-based applications, systems integrations and custom applications
  • Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the web applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
  • Apply technical skills in both front and back-end environments

Requirements

  • 3 + Years of Java development experience;
  • Experience with Web Services
  • Experience consuming real-time data from APIs (Rest, JSON)
  • Previous experience in back-end development
  • Experience in web development
  • Experience with object-oriented programming and MVC design patterns
  • Knack for writing clean, readable code
  • Experience with both external and embedded databases
  • Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
  • Basic understanding of the class loading mechanism in Java
  • Basic understanding of JVM, its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • A good understanding of JavaScript and jQuery
  • Implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git/Bitbucket
  • Familiarity with build tools such as Ant, Maven, and Gradle
  • Familiarity with continuous integration
  • Good English skills

Nice to Have

  • E-commerce development experience (Hybris/Salesforce preferred)
  • Experience with Salesforce Community;
  • Experience in Salesforce Backend (APEX/SFRA)
  • Basic German knowledge
