Head of Delivery

Position Overview:

The Head of Delivery will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects and services to our clients. This strategic leadership position requires a seasoned professional with a proven track record in project and service delivery, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

The ideal candidate will bring a combination of technical expertise, business know-how, and strong leadership skills to ensure that our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and with the highest level of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive delivery strategy aligned with the company’s overall goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with other department heads to ensure seamless integration of delivery processes with other business functions.
  • Implement proactive measures to anticipate and address potential challenges.
  1. Service Portfolio Management:
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive service portfolio, defining and documenting each service offering.
  • Lead the design process for new services, outlining service components, features, and delivery processes.
  • Regularly review and assess existing services, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.
  1. Project and Service Delivery:
  • Lead and manage the end-to-end delivery of projects and services, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Identify and mitigate delivery risks, proactively addressing challenges (including scalability) to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Develop and implement robust project management methodologies and best practices to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and predictability of results.
  • Optimize team allocation and resources utilization of to maximize productivity and achieve project goals.
  • Establish and maintain rigorous quality control processes to ensure deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Continuously monitor and improve service delivery processes, implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success and efficiency of delivery processes.
  1. Client Engagement:
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, understanding of client requirements, and overall satisfaction.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, seeking opportunities for additional business and client retention.
  • Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication and the delivery of exceptional service.
  1. Team Management:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the delivery team, creating a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
  • Develop team members, encouraging continuous learning and skill development.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless collaboration and coordination.
